Back for another update. Let me see where to begin...
Sunday
Selling porridge as usual. An aunty came and asked this question: "this one is your mother ah?" So this led me to conclude that one of these two hypothesis is true...
1st: I look old and my ah ma look young.
2nd: My ah ma look old, and I look even older.
Either way, the conclusion is I still look older (for some reasons) and instead of been called xiao jie in the past, now... uncle. I remember one aunty say this: "Lai baby (her toddler), give uncle the money". Zzz... didn't know when I "upgrade" from xiao jie in the past to uncle. Well, of course there's still those that call me xiao di, lol... maybe I'm been a bit pessimistic?
Anyway, met up with James, Pei Ying and Yuan Ling to have KFC. Zzz... so filling... after that, walked around and headed to Yuan Ling's house to slack and here's one of the picture that we took with her lappy:

Monday
School day... 2 hours as usual... this semester have been rather slacky and I was wondering if this will be a good time to pull up my GPA... Hmmm...
Anyway, today is the birthday of my favourite singers; Patti LaBelle. 66 years of age and still going strong. Woohoo~
Here's a video of her singing "New Day" at vh1 soul in 2004:
Come to think of it... she's only a few years younger than my ah ma. Hahaha~
Tuesday
School was great. Shaun taught me how to play english chess during the break and I think I manage to master the basics; like movement and some stuff (Hope it will stay there in my head).
Time flies when you play chess... or should I say when you focus. It been hard for me to focus after learning to be abit more aware of the surrounding... guess there's still a long way for me to go then.
Got back my report and was surprised that I managed to get an A. Haha, it's been such a long time since I got A for something I think... the last one I remember was like getting A for Food Culture back in year 1?
Nevertheless, it's also a kind of encouragement for me to not slack through the semester and getting average results, not to mention writing a better report. Jiayou jiayou oh~
Did I mentioned that I was kinda having a flashback yesterday night? Long story to say... but still manage to get enough sleep for today.
Oh! One thing... have you ever met someone who will knock on your door early in the morning to wake you up just to ask you to help her hook her bracelet on? That someone is my aunt. She's back from her trip to the US and I'm missing the peace and quietness of the house (for the past 2 weeks) already.
Having a hard time to falling asleep with the air-con humming away (external factor, cannot control)... I even have to off my fan to get it quiet enough to fall asleep. Weird me...
Here's a nice oldies (with meaningful lyrics) by Diana Ross titled "Missing You":
Since you've been away
I've been down and lonely
Since you've been away
I've been thinking of you
Trying to understand
The reason you left me
What were you going through?
Ooh Ooh
I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns
Ooh Ooh
I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns
As I look around
I see things that remind me
Just to see you smile
Made my heart fill with joy
I'll still recall
All those dreams we shared together
Where did you run to, boy
Ooh Ooh
I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns
Ooh Ooh
I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns
Sometimes I've wondered
I didn't understand
Just where you were trying to go
Only you knew the plan
And I tried to be there
But you wouldn't let me in
But now you've gone away, boy
I feel so broken-hearted
I knew the day we started
That we were meant to be
If only you'd let me
I've cried so many tears
Gotta face now all my fears
We let time slip away
There was so much you gave me
To my heart
To my soul
There was so much of your dreams
That were never told
You had so much hope
For a brighter day
Why were you my flower
Plucked away
Ooh Ooh
I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns
Ooh Ooh
I'm missing you
Tell me why the road turns
