Day 10 of holiday...

Did not went out today, but it did not make my day less interesting. Even though I'm suppose to do my reports today, but I did none. Guess that I really don't have any sense of emergency.

Received a 2GB mp3 from my aunt. Haha, but mine is not the pink one, but a blue one (although I prefer the pink one). Was having some trouble transferring the songs from my old mp3 to the new one. So I decided that, the new mp3 will be filled with new songs, mostly english one, whereas for my old mp3, is mostly filled with chinese songs. Haha, so don't be surprise to see me carrying 2 mp3 with me. Here's a look at my aunt's mp3:

Downloaded quite a few songs to the new one already and it's ready to use~ Have to wake up early tomorrow to attend the church service. Looking forward to it and hope I won't overslept. Let's just hope that somehow, some ways... my homework will be completed miraculously~

Merry Christmas to All!

Day 9 of holiday...

Accompanied my friends to city hall to buy some picks and guitar stuff at davis guitar. After which, I went to arcade to play some drums and listen to acoustic versions of songs, which makes me feel like learning guitar. It's like you can play and sing in your own style, which is very interesting.

Homework is still not done! I'm a goner for sure... Feeling kind of jelly around my arms area.. don't know why.. and a bit tired. Was listening to songs by Rascal Flatts, a country band, which I find their songs nice. Here's one of them, titled " What hurts the most" :

Day 8 of holiday...

Managed to have some fun today baking. Haha, it's been years since me and my friends do some shepherd pie... even since the last few cooking competition we organised. Back to those secondary school days... where we used to meet up after school to play arcade and hanging out together.

Things definitely changed within this few years... For better or for worst.. Some things are not within our control and sometimes, the harder we try to hold on to it... the easier it will slip away. Kind of moody today... although it's the past... I think that sub-consciously, there's still a part in me that plays the scence as if it was yesterday...

Anyway... Haven not started on any of my reports and assignment, I'm doomed! After calculating a bit, I discovered that during this week, I only have 2 days to do all my work! Time to count down to the new year... let's hope that it will be a better year than this...

Day 7 of holiday...

Hmmm, day 7, busy day. Went to help my ah ma in the morning and went to Manhattan Fish Market for the early Christmas dinner with my friends.

It started rather moody since there's some misunderstanding here and there... but everything is okay (on the surface) :p Hmmm, to me, the fish market food is okay okay only. Fresh but not tasty. But it was a filling meal.
After which, we decided to towards Orchard and took some pictures along the way. Here's one of them taken at Dhobby Ghaut:

Haha, I look more and more handsome liao right? Lol, got to admit, I did look a bit gay by my dressing sense and I managed to attract quite a lot of attention. Anyway, we went to Starbucks to have some drinks before continuing our 2nd part of the journey. First, it was Jiaming that went off 1st, since he needed to to book in by 10pm. Follow by Ariel and C.C (for some private time I guess) :p

Did saw a lot of things along the way, a mini-christmas hat for $5... 3 wise man and some shepherds. And I must say, the shepherds look more like the 3 wise man since they have better beard and stuff. We also saw some roman soldiers look quite good except for the sandals they are wearing.

After the 3 of them went, we continued to shop before heading home. In my impression, it is one of the few times I had a christmas gathering of any kind. Going to church on christmas day itself... Kind of looking forward to it...

Reminder to myself: remember to buy presents~

Day 6 of holiday...

When to Bugis but did not find any clothes. Just sort of hanging around and looking around. Saw a couple of cross that look pretty nice. Went to eat Steamboat with my friend (Yes, 2 of us...) and was very full from that. But nice dumpling though, I must say...

After the filling meal, when back to Toa Payoh to slack around with my other friends for awhile before heading home. 1st week of holiday is almost gone and I've not started on any of my work or assignment. Gosh, hope I can finish it in time...

Was listening to this song recently titled "Scatman" and discovered a rather interesting facts about the singer. Here's the link for those who are interested since I can embed it :

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpHLEm9-0bg

Although his career as a singer is rather short, he managed to make an impact. He managed to turn his 'disadvantage' into a kind of advantage, which is stuttering. Haha, for more information... Go search yourself!

That's for now... will be having a busy day ahead and I need to wake up early in the morning too... Sian.

Day 5 of holiday...

Did not do what I'm suppose to do... This means that work is accumulating. Today is a slacky day. Did not much. Watched the Oprah show on Hallmark which was talking about women who is not confident because of their body. Learning a few things... such as focusing on the positive side instead of the negative. But to me, it's easier said than done.

Went to central to slack around with my friend for awhile and I begin to think of the "what if..." I wondered if the path that I'm taking the right one. And how different my life will be if I did not attend school. A part of me is glad to be where I am now but there's also a part that dread about it. I know that I'm going to get stuck in the family cycle... But I must break the cycle. Only by breaking the cycle can I alter my fate.

History repeats itself... whether is it good or bad... at some point of time, it is bound to happen. Although we can't re-write history, only by moulding the present and learning from past mistake, can we have a chance to prevent history from repeating itself...

People say that for the new year, it's good to have some new year resolutions... Although not all the resolutions maybe fulfilled... it's better than not having any resolutions. Even though I do not have the habit of having resolutions... I'll try to make a change... And hope that I will find my answer...

For now, I'm deep in thoughts...

Day 4 of holiday...

Intially, was planning to go Bugis for shopping but instead, we decided to stay around Toa Payoh to shop. Overall, it's quite a fruitful day. Found my pink shirt at an unbelievable cheap price that nobody will be even be close when making their 1st guess.

After the shopping, went to Pei xuan's house to help out in the preparation for their outing and games tomorrow. Haha, got to admit that I'm a rather good newspaper hula-hoop maker :P Was listening and looking at James when he was playing the guitar, got to say, he's quite good at that. Which I think that I will have a hard time if I choose to learn guitar.

Stayed at her house till around 2am before heading for home. But before leaving, we spent some times taking a few pictures... Here's one of them:

This sure reminds me of the good old days... Anyway, I guess that I need my sleep too. Still have a lot to do in this short break... Let's hope that I able to archieve what I want to do for tomorrow. Guess that the clothes-hunting at Bugis this Saturday will be changed to accessories-hunting for me :P

Time to sleep! Lights out~
